Scottsdale Homes May Be Moving Outside of the City Limits
Buyers interested in new construction and looking into Scottsdale homes may want to consult with Aread, a real estate development and acquisition company. The company expects to sell builders close to 3,100 lots in the West Valley this year.
Just five years ago people thought it was crazy to develop home sites in an area considered "too far out on the fringe." Now, Nariman Afkhami, the company´s president, is making all of non-believers look foolish by planning 900 acres worth of home sites on 371st Ave. and a 1,000 acre project near Eloy.
Afkhami explains that there is a great deal of demand for affordable land on which to build entry-level Scottsdale homes, but the city has little remaining land to build on. So development is moving to the West Valley and Pinal County.
There were 3,100single-family Scottsdale homes built in 1999, but since the city is running out of land, only 1,400 Scottsdale homes went up in 2004.
