Wide Array of Prices for New Scottsdale Houses

Although new construction in Scottsdale is limited, there are a few new communities in which one can still find homes for sale. In general, it is best to be prepared for steep prices.

None of the Scottsdale houses in these communities would be considered affordable, but some of the cheaper options can be found among the Park Homes at DC Ranch. These Scottsdale houses, located near 91st and Union Hills Drive, range in price between $585,990 to $749,990. "The low-end, single-story house of 1,742 square feet has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a two-car garage." While the largest and more upscale model is two-stories, 2,806 square feet and has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and a three-car garage.

Other Scottsdale houses at DC Ranch are part of the Desert Haciendas and are much more expensive than Park Homes models. Desert Haciendas´ models range in price from $893,500 to $1.08 million.

"Eagle Homes is building the Estates at DC Ranch, which include a single-story 3,000-square-foot home that had a base price of $660,000 last spring but is now going for nearly $840,000." Eagle Homes has also built Scottsdale houses at Marley Park in Surprise and Verrado at Buckeye, where the exact same model featured at DC Ranch is priced at $506,990 and $514,990 respectively. It is obvious that location is still a huge factor in pricing in today´s Scottsdale real estate market.
