McDowell Mountain Ranch
McDowell Mountain Ranch is a 3,200-acre family-oriented master planned community in the McDowell Mountain foothills, close to the Loop 101 Freeway.
The final builder models closed in summer 2003, ahead of the original schedule, and no further development is planned. Only resale homes are available.
The varied neighborhoods of McCormick Ranch provide a wide variety of home styles. Market values start at around $200,000 and go up to $1 million for 4,000-square-foot residences in neighborhoods such as Cimarron Hills and Cimarron Ridge.
Homes with market values in the $200,000 to $300,000+ range may be found in the neighborhoods of Arizona Vintage & Discovery Trail, Castle Chase, Panorama Point, The Preserve and Sunset Point. Neighborhoods offering homes that range from the $300,000s to $500,000+ include Armonico and Vermilion Cliffs, Castle Chase, Eagle Ridge, Montecito, Summit & Arizona Highlands, Sonoran Fairways, Sunrise Point and Sunset Point.
Homes that start around $400,000 and have market values going up to $800,000 are located in McDowell Ranch neighborhoods of Desert Cliffs, Mirador and Sienna Canyon. Homes in Trovas and Sonoran Estates currently have market values that start over $500,000 and rise to about $800,000.
A wide variety of recreational opportunities are available to McCormick Ranch residents. The community offers a daily-fee golf course and a five-acre park with a swimming pool, tennis courts, a basketball court, sand volleyball court and a splash fountain. The neighborhoods of the Ranch are connected by miles of trails, giving residents easy access to the elementary/middle school, library and a citizen service center.
Residents also have trail access to the McDowell Sonoran Preserve which includes 900 acres of land that were donated to the Preserve at the time of the community's development.
