Scottsdale Homes for sale

Scottsdale home prices rise as you move from
south to north through the city. Median Scottsdale home prices range
from about $140,000 in South Scottsdale to $450,000 in the North near
the McDowell Mountains and Pinnacle Peak areas.

Real
estate sales statistics for 2002 show average Scottsdale home prices
were $390,700 for single family homes, just under $260,000 for patio
homes and slightly over $175,000 for townhomes. Scottsdale home prices
overall rose 12.7% in 2002

In the
older South section of the city, it is possible to find Scottsdale home
prices in the affordable range of $120,000 to $220,000 for homes built
in the 1950s and 60s. Scottsdale home prices could be on the rise in
this area as the city encourages renovation of older homes. South Scottsdale
also may become more desirable due to its proximity to Tempe Town Lake.
